Notes:
  1. All values presented here at taken from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of Rep. of Macedonia. The ministry issues a new measurement on the 17th minute of each hour. This page is automatically refreshed on each such event.
  2. The first number on the banner is the current value of the chosen pollutant. The second number, when shown, represents the number of days within the year that the pollutant has exceeded the daily limit as mandated by law.
  3. amples represent the number of measurements used to calculate the said average. E.g. There may be at most 24 samples for each daily average as measurements are taken once each hour. Occasionally, measurements are missing. In these events, the number of samples will be fewer.
  4. A note "No data yet!" means that the Ministry's website is either down or it is not reporting these values. We continuously query the Ministry's database to retrieve the missed data. When the data becomes available again, an update is issued here automatically.
  5. The AQI calculations are based on the European Common Air Quality Index (CAQI) and therefore the values reported here should not be compared against the American, Chinese or Indian AQI scales which use different boundary values.
  6. The PM10 and PM2.5 sensors were not functioning for the month of May to September in Tetovë in 2019. As a result, an approximation was calculated for the missing months based on previous year's sensor profile and also based on profiles from 2019 from private sensors in Tetovë.
